Prior to starting his own business, Michael was working as a project manager for an IT consulting firm specializing in software implementations, and he was living in a condominium property and was on the Board of Directors. His experience on that boardmade him realize the need for a company that could make condo management more efficient – so he decided to combine his experience in project management, software, and condo management, and he created that company himself. Wilkar officially commenced in 2006. Maia joined the team in 2007 as Michael’s first employee.
